About CULTEC
Thank you for taking the opportunity to introduce yourself to our company. Information on this website is available to inform you of our product line and a BMP manner of solving your stormwater management and septic leachfield needs.
CULTEC, Inc. is the manufacturer of the Contactor® and Recharger® Plastic Septic and Stormwater Chambers. They may be used as subsurface retention or detention systems, as replacements for ponds, concrete structures or pipe and stone installations or as replacements for conventional septic leachfield lines. Our perforated sidewalls and full open bottom promote maximum infiltration capability and allow for the transfer of high volumes at low velocity.
We are a family-owned and operated company with experience in the drainage industry dating back to the 1950's. Our background stems from manufacturing precast concrete products for several generations. After many years of research and design, the concrete galleries evolved into our current line of plastic chambers.
We have been manufacturing our chambers since 1986 and have nine different sizes to fit almost any installation requirement.
In order to provide a complete stormwater management package, we have developed Stormfilter® Stormwater Filter Chamber for treatment and HVLV™ (High Volume, Low Velocity) Header System for conveyance. When used with our Contactor® and Recharger® Plastic Stormwater Chambers the Phase II EPA requirements are met with ease. We have also designed our own in-line manifold system unique to CULTEC chambers.
Our products meet H-25 wheel load criteria and are manufactured at ISO 9001:2000 facilities for strict quality control. Most of our models are also approved by IAPMO. Users are also able to achieve LEED credits.
To support the engineering community in the design of our products, we are modeled in Bentley Systems' PondPack V8i, HydroCAD, BOSS International's StormNET and Streamline Technologies' ICPR. In addition, we are able to assist you in your design by performing preliminary calculations and supplying AutoCAD® layouts free of charge.
